Here is what we know about American Airlines 77:
Media sources within days of 9/11 said it took off ten minutes late but none named what gate it left from.
An official Staff Report dated August 26, 2004 identified the gate as Gate D26 (three years after 9/11).
Different sources related to air traffic control identified an airborne plane as Flight 77.
Researcher Elias Davidsson asked American Airlines for permission to interview employees who saw the passengers off but the airlines denied the request on grounds of privacy.
No independent source has ever identified remains of any passengers from this flight.
No debris from the scene at the Pentagon has ever been traced by serial number to the plane that allegedly flew on 9/11 as Flight 77.
