This is carrying 'one-world' view, one germ too far.

::::::::

It’s not as if there’s enough reasonably priced health care for American citizens, but Congress decided to say it’s okay to import HIV patients.

What? We don’t have enough sick people of our own?

It makes as much sense as importing food. Another, what? We don’t produce enough of our own?

Just like people with HIV who can make us sick by spreading the wealth of their germs, some imported food has poisoned us and our pets.

Walking through a human feed store is dangerous enough, what with all the preservatives, hormones, cloning, pesticides and crap they put into or spray onto our food, but now -- if Congress finishes what they started, we can shop with imported sickies.

Of course, we’d have to become a member of the “quickie checkout” club and get it on in a shopping cart to contract the disease…but still.

Here’s the Los Angeles Daily News AP story in an untainted, safe to read nutshell.

At an August international AIDS conference in Mexico City, the U.S. was lauded for reversing its 15-year-old law banning HIV-positive people from entering the country. As yet, no action has been taken to put the congressional law -- signed by W. himself -- into effect.

From the signer to the reps to the sens, they really are idiots who don‘t give a rat‘s ass for our health and safety. They are charter members of the we-hate-our-own club, and they proved it when they voted for this idiotic killer bill.

You can read the details for yourself. It’s short, if not shortsighted.
