In Code Pink seeks fast exit for Bush,
Amie Parnes at Politico reports at the end of her sory on the efforts of Code Pink activists that -
' A spokeswoman for the House Judiciary Committee said Tuesday that an impeachment hearing is "not going to happen." '
This is a significant development if true, and I've no reason not to accept it at face value, but can any other readers of this site confirm, that that is now the official position of the House Judiciary Committee?
If it is, then it seems that Wexler, and hundreds of thousands of others that joined the petition in calling for hearings, have effectively been denied.
Can anyone confirm with a source please?
