The above are the articles by Justin Raimondo on Obama's new Middle East czar(?) and also my artlicle about Ignorance in heart. I have to say that so far our new Congress and our new President- Elect had demonstrated Ignorance in Heart as a primary feature of theirs:
1. Obama stood silent about Gaza massacre and did not even consider cancelling the inauguration festivities in respect to the dead children.
2. Our Congress now is considering a resolution(!) supporting Israel. That's an act of treason.
3. Although the economy is crumbling inauguration festival will go on and Obama will have a new limousine.
4. NONE of the Obama's cabinet people ( I take exception with Mrs. Solis) represents the actual core basis of his supporters. Quite the contrary.
5. During the so- called presidential lunch Obama deliberately mingled with the most unfortunate ones- the Bushes while ignoring Carter- the only decent person in that coven of unfortunate characters.
6.Our Senate engages in idiotic bickering about senate seats and at the same time such odious figure as Caroline Kennedy wants(!) to become a senator. Howard Dean, though, the only decent person in the Demparty is out without any praise and without any offers.
7. Obama behaves like a child: he joggles the money and stimulus while in reality it has nothing to do with power. At the same time he wastes the money already by appointing the Chief Performance Officer, duplicating the functions of the GAO.
8. Leon Panetta, the appointee for CIA director is a Demparty functionary and although he seems to be ' against torture' that is not what defines the CIA director. Torture is a crime- it is the matter of the DOJ to find and prosecute criminals and judiciary- to convict. CIA is an intelligence gathering organization- its role is to help to execute the policies of National Security. Panetta seems to be like a Clintonian agent in CIA, not a sturdy professional needed to lead it.
9. So far it becomes more and more evident that the upcoming Obama administration is already being paralysed by Clintonians- it has no initiative whatsoever and in sorts - just has an aim to please the GOP. Those talks about 'inclusion of the GOP' are pathetic and have nothing to do with statemanship.
I am very disappointed and see the hard times ahead. Obama should understand that the shadow of death cast by the Ignorance as a main tool of the US policy had been now over him thanks to the Gaza and his silence. It is not the way to start a Presidency of Hope. No Spider -man will save him from this one.
