Life is indeed stranger than fiction. Two days ago, I commented on my own site that I expected a quake on the West Coast.

Won't take up much of your time, however, when I wrote "Tonight's Wolf Moon - Beware if you Live in EarthQuake zones" in January, two days ago I felt compelled to write this comment on my own site on the the article linked to above:

The full moon was on March 30th, however it still looks "full" from here in Georgia - and it's during the few days leading up to and after that quakes are often triggered. I'm expecting to see a large quake with this full moon phase; The West Coast has been extremely active lately and seems to be in a trend of activity that was demonstrated before Chile's Great Quake. With Spring Break in full swing, let's hope that if one does hit, it isn't on our own territory during a time when so many people are off from school and enjoying the first nice weather we've seen so far this spring. I do believe in trends, and have made this comment because I've noted a significant rise in smaller quakes that often precede a major event."

I tell my family at home when I expect these events, and I am often right, but never so much that I actually make a comment such as the one above. I don't like to put the "trends" I believe are developing in writing, because I'm afraid of being made fun of if it doesn't happen, but on the above comment, I just couldn't help myself.

I wish I had been wrong...
