Dear friends:
Just recently, an acquaintance told me he was going to attend the funeral of his neighbor's son, who died in Iraq. Go figure: The San Francisco Chronicle did not print anything about his death. Not a word.
Wouldn't it seem possible and even likely that the statistics are under-reported? We all know how secretive the Bush Administration is. We all know that they stonewall constantly. We all know that the Press is funded by the Military-Industrial Complex (Haliburton funds the NY Times).
How can it possibly make sense that so many Iraqi's are dead, yet somehow Americans are seemingly immune? Tell me our soldiers are flying Supermen? This figure of 4,000 people, after all the years we have been there, simply doesn't make any sense to me.
Does anyone have any information to offer about this? I would be interested, and I'll bet others would be too.
Meanwhile, the Press's report of only 4,000 US Soldiers dead from the Iraq combat earns my vote of no-confidence.
How about you? What do you think? Please post below! Please especially post any concrete, actual facts which you may have. Thank you!
