I Resign as the Official Bitter Old Hippie of the Stephanie Miller Show

I have officially surrendered as a progressive speaker. The last straw was being mocked, on air and off, (nothing like a live web cam to hear truth when the commercials run) by one of my favorite Progressive Talk radio shows. I'm on air once in awhile with Stephanie Miller - https://www.stephaniemiller.com/members/member.php And last week her substitute Hal Sparks http://halsparks.com/introspectacles/ gave me quite the spanking for being disappointed in President Obama. For being dissatisfied with the Health Insurance Bill. Of being outraged by the Administration for distain and dismissal of our positions. Mr. Sparks mocked me for even mentioning The Department of Peace and he laughed at Rep. Kuchinich. He had snide comments at my joke" "We will not be ignored" al la Fatal Attraction. By inference, I'm as crazy as Glenn Close.

It was a huge STFU from Mr. Sparks. I'll admit, emotion flared when he started with Mr. Obama's accomplishments (for which I am not sufficiently grateful)! First of course was the signing the Lilly Ledbetter Act (yippee, good for her), as if I didn't know anything about it. As if that bit of PR was enough to wipe out the comprise and complicity of all the other MONUMENTAL betrayals that followed.

I'd list them but ya'll know what they are. If you don't, contact me though the message board and I'll fill you in.

It didn't end well. BTW, there were others who called before me expressing similar opinions, but none after my call.

So, it was with some anticipation (and trembling) when Stephanie Miller returned to her show today. I was wondering if she would address this. And, well, I guess Hal Sparks was correct in his assessment, and Stephanie seemingly agreed with him.

I'm whiney, crazy, bitter, stupid, short sighted etc. etc. marginal minority. So be it. Because I am, all of that and more. Sigh.

The message to all progressives, activists, outraged liberal lefties is STFU. Believe in Mr. Obama, quiet your questioning and your dissenting voices. This is the best we can get. So STFU and support the Democrats. OH FARKIN' PLEASE!

They're in the bag for Obama. We must not expect progressive talk radio to support us in any actions we may take.

No, I'm not naïve, I know better than most that the corporations control the media, and they control Progressive Talk Radio too. Like during the Bush/Cheney years we're going to have to do it ourselves.

Can't wait to hear Randi Rhodes: h ttp://www.therandirhodesshow.com/main.html today. I was on air with her substitutes Frangela http://www.frangela.com/ last week as well. whose views are closer to my own. So I truly hope they don't lose their gig with Randi when she goes on vacation.
