Watching the debates takes me back to the school yard. It sounds familiar.

::::::::

The Democratic debates have gotten silly. I really wish they would all start telling the truth. What we have is like a kindegarten school yard argument. Not one of them is addressing the rising costs of real estate and energy and the speculators who are being given a free shot to pull it off. They're keeping all those ridiculous profits for themselves while inflicting economic hardship on literally millions of people. And the Candidates,,,,?

Yea I know, just keep promising change. I expect to keep hearing:

"I'm changier than you are."

"I'm tougher on terrorists than you are,"

"No you're not, I'm tougher and changier than you are and I'll stay the course."

"I want to build a fence around our country and throw out all the illegals and open a dialog with the world."

"I know you are but what am I"

Maybe they really are simply addressing the American People the way their handlers and research have shown them is best in order to get the majority to respond. Maybe it's not all the fault of the media and special interests. I read somewhere that a People will always get the Government they deserve. Perhaps it's time to stop looking at all these caricature candidates and start looking in a mirror instead. Maybe it's in the mirror that the real explanation of our Political state lies.
