At the moment I am still in difficult situation as there is still fighting in tribal areas situated on Pak-Afghan border. My wife is also seriously ill. My children have also been facing a very hard time, but still I have been trying to keep myself normal. Despite all these odds, I have fielded myself as a candidate for the post of president of Peshawar Press Club. Last year I was also a candidate for the post of president, but I have received very little votes. Actually money is being used during the election.On December 22, 2009 a suicide attack has been carried out on the Peshawar Press in which our several colleagues have lost their lives. This year the situation is the same. But my condition is critical as I have been receiving threats from some people. They have threatened me that I shall be eliminated in case I do not withdraw from the peace struggle and politics.
In this critical time I am just needing your support. Just own me as your colleague. My victory in the election will be the victory of OEN. Just write a few words in my support.
