I am getting more and more concerned about the impact of Hurricane Fay and this coming Tuesday's Primary Election to be held in some (not all) Florida counties. The last thing that I read is that Charlie Crist, Governor of Florida has already asked for Emergency funding from President Bush. Apparently, he hasn't yet received an answer. Media lines like "Florida watches for Fay's next move," "Weather Service Records 26 inches of rain near Melbourne, Florida," "Rainfall Could Reach 30 inches in some areas, forecasters say," "Looters Prey of Fay Victims," "Alligators, Army Trucks, Poisonous Snakes and "Gophers," "Catfish shut down airport runway..."
But not a single word about Tuesday....
