What is it with the price of gas going up and down a few cents each day? Oil at the wellhead has remained low, yet the price of regular gas has been slowing creeping up over the last month. In our area, regular was as low as $1.21 (in Ms.) and is now 1.87 (Al.). It has been in the last week, 1.71 in the morning, then up a few cents at noon, only to drop by dark. We are told that the price is set by the futures market, just like that was the blame when oil hit $150. We now know that was a purely manipulated market, had nothing to do with supply and I cannot help but believe that is what is happening with gasoline. Here is a link that lets you check the price throughout the state. http://www.alabamagasprices.com/ This link is for Alabama but at the right top, you can change state and city. Exxon just made the largest profit in their history and I firmly believe it was based on lies, manipulation, and political corruption.
