Musings from a confused progressive.

::::::::

I have been accused of being many things in my life, and been guilty of most, and those of you that follow my posts, and those that have been nice, honest or brave enough to respond, know that I can be grounded to a point of gloom.

And when it comes to politics I don’t know where I stand as much as I know where I don’t. I know bullshit when I hear it and I would hope that after a time mankind, and we as individuals, would all come to a point that we come to some very basic conclusions.

I have always held hope that with increasing speed in which knowledge can be spread that ignorance could be defeated, and with that mankind would shed superstitions that shackle intelligence and allow corruption to flourish.

The reality is that it’s still a footrace and we’re done to the wire, and that thousands of years of ignorance and entrenched sociopaths control aren’t an easy thing to defeat.

I would like to be called a progressive, if by being progressive, it means one is committed to defeating ignorance and allowing intelligence to govern. My confusion is that my hope might overshadow reality and that I’m more radical than so-called progressives.

Case in point: it is my conclusion that progressives want an end all imperialistic military aggression around the world. To bring our troops home and instead spend our money on infrastructure, schools and health care, that we turn our economy away from one that profits off of furnishing the world with war’s weapons and men.

It is also my impression that progressives would like to see all so-called “black ops” intelligence suspended and outlawed, and said intelligence agencies held accountable for past crimes and not be able to hide behind phrases such as “national intelligence.”

I may be also under the mistaken conclusion that progressives want a return to a sound fiscal policy, disbandment of Federal Reserve Bank and accountability of those swindlers that call themselves bankers that have committed the greatest theft of wealth in history.

I may also be further mistaken that prohibition against drugs should end is a progressive stance. That money instead is spent on social and quality of life programs, instead of building-up a domestic military/police force, or creating a youth brigade by putting young people that don’t have jobs in uniforms, giving them guns and authority to go around making sure everyone is “environmentally friendly”, until they’re old enough to get real big guns and enlist into our ever growing mercenary army.

I may be even further mistaken that progressives would want immediate impeachment and indictment proceedings against all members of government that have been found to have violated laws of our land, Constitution and Bill of Rights. This includes a proper criminal investigation into events surrounding 9/11.

There are other issues of course that I could add that might stand a better chance of gaining ground on than the above, election reform, equal rights, health care, environment, and more, but the above is enough to chew on for now, because my concern comes in just how far progressives think they’re going to get with absolute capitulation to a totally corrupt two-party system?

For if none of those larger issues are addressed what change can come from a system of government that is still basically controlled, not by us, but by a world elite that pulls their every stings?

Will this next administration denounce its roots and refuse to place members of CFR, Illuminati, New World Order ivory college elites, as have the last administrations for the past 100 years, in positions of power?

Will they enforce laws against members of government from meeting with groups such as Bilderberg and Bohemia Grove, and have such groups make their proceedings public or stop meddling in state affairs?

This is why I’m puzzled. For these things don’t seem “radical” to me. They seem basic. The progressive part comes from recognizing that to get to a point where they need to be implemented is the “progress” part of progressive.

Yet, what am I witnessing?

A hope that one half of this corrupt system will somehow change and become something it's not.

Can we get back to reality again?
