LEAN Clock by Steven G. Erickson
The "LEAN" program is allegedly being pushed, and is under the control of, or is at minimum, pushed by Homeland Security and OSHA. Sources have told me that OSHA and the EPA have gotten a large influx of extra federal tax dollars to investigate, fine, harass, and possibly put out of business, smaller businesses and sole proprietorships. Promote the bigger, squash the little people.
The LEAN Program has Japanese roots.
It all seems, well and good, on the surface.
The current program might be a day long seminar held in a factory, or warehouse. It involves hands on mock manufacturing of an item. A clock with a flat plastic stand with the minimum of parts is a standard. There is a slide show shown in a classroom type room, as the process becomes more efficient through the direction of the LEAN teacher. Numbers are thrown out as propaganda, tests are given to further snow the employee. Being made to worker harder, for less, or being let go, can then be better justified.
The owner is alleged to only make money if the manufacturing, and delivery line, is at its most efficient, making workers think they only make money for a company at peak efficiency. That is pure propaganda. The numbers for expenses, and losses seem inflated. So, a worker might then be happier making little money, not thinking the owners of the plant, or warehouse, are making money hand over fist off of their backs.
The program seems to suggest through intervention of a LEAN team that seasoned, long employed workers, with benefits, will be let go for fewer workers. To get as much work done as efficiently as possible, utilizing temps as much as is possible, is also a covert part of the plan.
It seems contrary to everything I have ever been taught. Government has so infiltrated what is supposed to be private industry. When is there going to be a real wake up call in America? What are these well organized corporate bankster agents really doing to America and the average American?
