The EHEC mystery continues. I hope the rucola (arugula) we had yesterdayis safe. So far it's only lettuce, tomatoes and beansprouts that are
suspect, though I still don't understand why just these and not all
vegetables. Don't they use manure on carrots, potatoes, zucchini and so
on? Maren says she trusts the place she orders her veggies from online
because they're locally grown, but we're all living dangerously if we
eat them raw until the mystery is solved, which may never happen.
