How can a woman who is apparently brilliant, experienced in politics, and determined to win, be so totally tone deaf when it comes to how she comes across? Again and again, Hillary Clinton engages in attacks against Barack Obama which only serve to support the stereotype of her that she will do whatever it takes. The latest example was her incomprehensible "process" comment during the Ohio debate. She started - with a mischievous grin - complaining about being asked the first question, and then used a Saturday Night Live skit as "evidence" that the press was being unfair. Then she moved into disdainful mode, sarcastically wondering if Williams & Russert were about to ask Obama if he wanted another pillow. It fell like a lead balloon. Didn't she learn from the "xerox" line? Who's telling her to use these petty jabs?
