Hillary Clinton suspended and endorsed. Now the real campaign games can begin.

::::::::

Hillary Clinton’s concession speech and endorsement of Barack Obama was both magnificent and magnanimous.

Hillary: “I will work my heart out to make sure Barack Obama is our next president.” And, “I endorse him and throw my whole-hearted support behind Barack Obama.”

Both statements were greeted by resounding applause as was every time she uttered Obama’s name. Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews said near the beginning of her speech they heard some booing, but I didn’t hear it.

Her speech and her core supporters positive reaction to it must be sending shivers of horror through the McCain campaign.

Any female Clinton supporters who are still angry and disappointed have until Monday to salve their wounds and recover. Sorry, ladies. I know how hurt and angry you are, but you don’t have the luxury of a year’s grace period to recover like you do after having a baby, major surgery or being jilted.

The presidential election is in less than five months; 150 days to be exact.

Ladies, its time to look inside yourselves and heed two words from Hillary’s speech: Supreme Court.

A vote in anger or retribution for John “GHW” McCain is a vote to give up your right to choose; your right to equal pay for equal jobs; your chance to get affordable health care for you and your children; to insure that we will never leave Iraq; and so much more that McCain and the Republicans represent.

A vote for McCain is a vote for your worst interests. To not vote at all would also be in your worst interests.

We can’t let either happen again.

If Hillary is going to “work her heart out for Obama,” then you must follow her lead, just as you worked your hearts out for her.

Bill Clinton was the man from Hope; Barack Obama is the man of hope!
