The Supreme Court announced today that it will decide whether the District of Columbia's ban on handguns violates the Constitution, a choice that will put the justices at the center of the controversy over the meaning of the Second Amendment for the first time in nearly 70 years.

My take on this story
There are two matters upcoming, one is the Harmon Bill which passed the House by a wide margin, the other is a case before the Supreme Court banning guns in our capitol. We need to stop them both so call, write and yell for our rights. If they ban guns in DC that means they are afraid of guns even though they clam to support gun ownership.

Okay, "Mr and Mrs. America and all the ships at sea!" Especially those among you which own and treasure Guns. I am a Liberal in the mode of Jesus and I agree with you on few things, two of which are that I am against abortion and in favor of Handguns for every sane person. In fact, I collect Old western Six-shooters and was once Quick draw Champ both at the high school and college levels. I love old Black Powder six-guns and modern shell firing single action six shooters and am still pretty quick despite arthritis. I play with the guns and practice my draw several times a week.

Now here is the crux of the matter. Representative Jane Harman's Bill:
