-- On the eve of what's expected to be a tough confirmation hearing Thursday, one senator has thrown up a political roadblock intended to stymie Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's second term.

Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., said late Wednesday that he will put a hold on
Bernanke's nomination. A hold is an informal practice in which a
senator informs the majority leader that he does not want a measure or
nomination to reach the floor for a vote.....Source: CNN
Well there is at least one Senator with the interest of the American people in his heart--Senator Bernie Sanders, an Independent from Vermont.
The
American people have had enough of the lies, the rip offs, the
swindles, and the lost trillions of dollars for the bailing out of the
super rich. All of this nefarious activity rests at the feet of
Bernanke and the Federal Reserve Board. As most Americans should know,
the Fed is neither a public institution or Constitutional.
The Fed needs to be abolished.
If the American people want a private institution to run their country and the money supply, let's try Federal Express. At least Federal Express has a history of doing things correctly and, as far as I know, not ripping off the American people.
But the better option is to follow the Constitution and to put Congress back in charge of the money supply. After all, we are supposed to be following the Constitution.
Bernie Sanders is a great example of why we need Independents in Congress. The 2 Party system is just the 2 hands of the same beast, The Military Industrial Financial Complex. That Beast owns the political system and it has destroyed America. As we have also seen recently, that Beast has President Obama continuing to Bankrupt the country in endless wars for Empire.
So much for the Nobel Peace Prize Winner and that joke of an Award.
