We're about $1500 short of our fundraising minimum need this month. Please help. And find out what this picture is about.

::::::::

OEN is the people's media. We're proud of that and proud that we are supported by readers and writers. If you value what we do-- our articles, our outreach, our giving writers voices-- all over the world-- then please help

Click here to donate today.

You'll be glad you did and we'll really appreciate it.

Check out the image below. There's the story of the blind wise ones. They were put in a room and each touched a different part of what was in the room.
One said, "it's a rug."
Another said "it's a a rope"
Another guessed, "it's a tree trunk."
One of the others said, "It's a hose."
Another guessed "It's a water bag."
And finally, another guessed, "it's a spike."

Each, blind to the whole story, used the information he or she had to guess what it was. Between them, they figured out what it really was. Scroll down below to see.

And consider that this is something that Opednews.com does amazingly well, with the help of thousands of writers from all over the world. We do it and then the information takes on a life of its own and changes the world.
