. His words were gibberish. I ran inside to knock on his apartment door to see if his wife was home. No answer, then ran back outside, afraid I'd find a dead man.
I called 9-11. As I was giving them directions, the man started to move, then stand up. "What's going on?" I asked.
"Heat, dehydration..." he replied, walking to his apartment. He went in. I asked, "Are you okay? Can I help you?" He replied no and closed the door.
The 911 operator asked if I still needed an ambulance sent.
"I guess not," I replied.
I went to the gym.
