Meanwhile, the so called actual reform does what, rewards the very same institutions that have raised the cost of Health care out of the reach of an unacceptably high percentage of peoples incomes. It's a money grabbing hand for the Insurance companies and the Government, direct and without appeal, right into the pockets of every single American. The same push button nonsense about abortion costs and the illegals just show how low these financializers will go to get this Government mandated income stream going. Besides, who really thinks an emergency room will actually turn away a patient who at the door bleeding, has a problem showing all the documents and passports needed to get medical attention. That really is demagoguery
What would it take to reform the health care system, I mean truly reform it? The way it should be is a person should be able to go see a doctor or visit an emergency room for a small fee commensurate with their income. It shouldn't take a years income or more to visit a hospital, the costs are too high, this Government reform is a ruse, it does nothing to make costs reasonable, in fact, once this insurance tax is in place and people are paying it to stay out of jail, the income stream created and running, there will be nothing to stop the health care insiders to continue doing what they have been doing to medicare and medicaid, pigging out at the Government-tax payer trough.
The system is broken, there are no good parts to build on. Further enriching the insurance companies and using perhaps Homeland security to test tobacco truth and age and citizenship with the threat of incarceration for non compliance is just the wrong way to go. Life shouldn't be about government and compliance, it should be about living happy and free. They are trying to fix the problem by enriching the problem makers and enhancing government intrusion into people lives.
That's right, they are creating an authoritarian state using the fear of ill health and financial ruin. The National ID card will be needed to enforce this reform, it all starts to add up and make sense now. Most who read this will say I am over reacting or worse that I am a Republican. No, I am just a man who is tired of getting played by government corn and games, endless wars, funny money, financialized commodities and the list goes on. Government reform to stabilize a market, commodity or a service always seems to do the exact opposite and this health care reform will be no different.
What's up with that?
