If this trajectory holds, we will unfortunately get to see how well the Army Corps of Engineers and its contractors have repaired the levees of New Orleans. I am not hopeful on that count.
To Rob and all who care about New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, it should be incumbent on OpEdNews, which has seen many splendid posts on Katrina and its aftermath, to lead the way in the media in reporting on this pending crisis and demanding that proper actions be taken by all authorities to protect and evacuate, if need be, the citizens of the Gulf Coast.
Let our motto be: NO MORE KATRINAS!, meaning no more irresponsible, even criminally negligent or predatory responses and callous indifference to our citizens.
