Howard Dean, that Media ridiculed populist back in 2004 and now DNC power broker, has remained strangely silent on, well just about everything that's gone wrong in the 2008 Democratic Primary and debate formats. He has had nothing to contribute publicly to help explain the exclusion of certain candidates from the debates. He has been silent on the disenfranchisement of the Democratic voters in Florida and Michigan. What can we assume from Howard's deafening silence.I suppose we can assume that all these anomalies are just fine with him. I can only assume that he is completely satisfied with the strange election results in New Hampshire. I didn't hear him wonder how the pre election polls could be so wrong. I can only assume that he knows the answers to the mostly unanswered questions for the rest of us. So what's happened to the Howard Dean that I respected and even saw and understood what really happened to him in 2004. Who or what got to him? Or is this the real Howard Dean? Perhaps he's now just another inside operator and conspirator in handing over the Democratic Nomination over to the establishment corporate interests. Perhaps this is what he's always wanted.
I am forced to come to that conclusion because he's just not working on it for my vote to count, such as it ever counts, in Florida. The Michigan Primary was a travesty, as Chairman of the DNC am I to believe that his hands were tied and his mouth taped shut? It's time for Howard Dean to come out of his hiding place and let us all know what's going on. I'd be interested in how it came to be that in the Nevada debate just held, how it was that the three, Hillary, Obama and Edwards all had the same lame answer for the Iraq Troop withdrawal. We must have troops to protect our embassy. Funny how we need Marine garrisons to protect our embassy in a country we just liberated and that's supposed to love the USA.
Please Howard, reassure me that being a democrat still means something, never mind, to be fair that ship sailed years ago. But I did, just a short while ago think you were different. I would have voted for you. Now, I see you and John Kerry as being on the same level. Kerry is off endorsing Obama and doing him in and you, what are you doing? I can only assume that what you're doing as DNC Chairman is responsible for what's going on. And Mr. Howard Dean, what's going on seems a little contrived, manipulated, self serving to the special interests and nothing that seems to enable the rank and file Democrat to select their nominee.
Please speak up, it's not too late. Help me understand how what you're doing is going to help end the War in Iraq, level the playing field somewhat between the Corporate Establishment and the rest of us or even just have our vote count. So far, nothing. Same Status Quo, only worse!
