The corruption of our economy with the complicity of our government has gone far enough. It is high time for the citizens to take direct action to confront this abuse and to restore some decency in our governance and some hope for our children's future.

::::::::

Today we learn that bonuses for Wall St. financiers rose 17 percent to over $20 billion in 2009.
.
What was the source of that lucre? Why we were, my fellow citizens, through the transfer of our taxes by our US Treasury to the banksters, the foreclosure of our homes, and the exportation of our jobs, all apparently with the assent of the people's Congress.
.
It only makes sense, our Treasury being run -- under whatever partisan government -- by the once and future capos of the Wall St School of National Embezzlement.
.
Free Enterprise is no longer free, if in fact it ever was.
.
One thing that's really different now though is that it's protective agent has become openly its financial agent and servant, and that servant is our government, under whatever partisan trappings.
.
What more does it take to disabuse our minds of the notion that our government is the servant of the people?
.
(Or for that matter, the notion that our churches -- silent to our Nine Year War of Lies and Atrocities -- are the servants of the Prince of Peace?)
.
Look, America, representative government no longer works here, for the simple reason it's no longer representative. Got that? Our government has opted out of the social contract.
.
What to do? Suck it up? Indenture our children to more of the same? Await the epiphany "certain" to come with the next election of the party of our choice? (Would that party be different from the two that have sold us out for the last thirty years to the Banksters, Big Pharma, Big Insurance, Agribiz, Contract Mercenaries, and Weapons-Are-Us?)
.
We need some direct action. A lot of us (a million or more) need to go to the seat of power of the world's once oldest republic and stay until we earn back America.
.
We should try to keep it peaceful, if we're so permitted. But know this: the treacherous are never satisfied, but will keep pushing the limits of self-interest, greed, lust for power and madness until we disallow it.
.
We need to disallow it and -- our representation having turned traitor and incinerated our Bill of Rights --we need to do it with citizens, a lot of them, in Washington, refusing to go away without re-installing America.
.
It's time we stopped: exporting our jobs, losing our homes, denying medical care and our kids' education at the international standard, neglecting our highways and bridges, killing our children in war, slaughtering a lot more other children in war, trashing our respect by the decent governments of the world, and losing any chance of a respectable report in history -- all to the aggrandizement of a few privileged by the complicity of our own government.
.
Tell us when you're ready, when you've had enough. Make sure we hear you. Make sure -- finally! -- that hey hear us!
.
Those perhaps now made hesitant by 30 thirty years of intimidation creep may find encouragement and take courage in the words of some other trouble-makers in our capital of 200-odd years ago, who made these words our law: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
.
That's the First Article of OUR Bill of Rights. We cannot permit it to be ignored or trashed. We must use it!

Rafe Pilgrim, after "a life largely wasted on hard honest work," found himself a jungle of turkey oak, scrub pine and giant palmettos up a dirt road running east of Crystal River, Florida, which neither school busses nor the U.S. Postal Service dare (more...)
