Google Editors Will Pick and Choose Search Results

Message Kyle Hunt

Alright folks, read it and weep - Google Cranks up the Consensus Engine

"Google this week admitted that its staff will pick and choose what appears in its search results. It's a historic statement - and nobody has yet grasped its significance."

And here's an article from Daily Tech - Former Agent Says Google and CIA in Partnership

(Not surprising. Do you know who seed funded Goliath?)

There are whole lot of articles I could list that would demonstrate how Google intends to have everything and everyone microchipped and searchable, define the "truth" by omitting legitimate results, and basically be the means by which our population is monitored and controlled. However, their presence in the Council on Foreign Relations and their role as a Federal Government contractor should have you concerned enough as it is.

Do not get me wrong, there is a whole lot of innovation coming out of Google. I respect the company and its engineers on certain levels and am fond of many of their products. However, the writing is on the wall (or messageboard as it were) and things seem to be moving toward a terrible state of technological affairs - slowly but surely.

There are ways out, though. There is a meta-engine, www.ixquick.com, which has been awarded the first European Privacy Seal. If you are concerned with keeping your web searches out of the hands of the goons (or at least make it harder for them) then I suggest trying this product. I find the results to be highly reliable, especially as I, and my writings, appear higher on their search results :)

PS - Ever see the movie Anti-Trust? You should.
