Our Fed has decided that fighting recession is more pressing now than fighting inflation. The logic seems to be that an economic slow down will do more harm than just people paying higher prices for the necessities of living. I'm guessing that's because the higher prices are being paid with inflated dollars that are "worth" less so that the end result will be a push. That is, the same intrinsic value of the merchandise, just a few extra inflated dollars to fix it. Inflation will actually lower mortgage payments and other debt because the dollars the debt is paid off with will again, be "worth" less. Thank goodness, for awhile there things were looking a little tight, but thanks to our monetarist leaders, all will be smooth sailing.
For awhile there I thought paying 60$-80$ for a tank of gasoline meant that the price of gas was rising and therefore was taking more of my monetary resources to pay for my transportation needs. but now that I know the dollars I'm using to pay with are worth less, I realize that I'm getting my gasoline for practically free. In fact, higher is better as far as prices are concerned as long as the dollars are properly inflated. All I'm going to need are bigger pockets to carry around my financial assets. Small price to pay for virtual financial freedom being handed to me by our monetarist leaders.
Just one little formality to take care of and then I'll be off to the races for financial ease and comfort. That formality is simply me telling my customers and employers what I have realized about my security arriving on the wings of my inflated dollars. When I tell them that it is "OK" to go on and pay me lots more money for the same work, they will immediately realize that it is not a "raise" in the conventional sense. They will acknowledge too that the dollars are simply worth less and so they are not really having to pay more for my services. How could they possibly resent that? Plus they will realize, like I have, that they will be getting things for practically free too. I may not even have to mention patriotic duty. How it is the highest patriotic duty to do our part to help our monetarist leaders prevent any kind of dreaded economic slow down.
Yes, soon that R-word will be a distant memory. We're not going to hear it on TV or read it in the papers. Won't even have to think about it! There is no and there will be no, dare I say it, Recession. Living in the richest country in the world with the best monetarist leaders sure has it's benefits. All it takes now is knowing that inflation is good and then with assurance and abandon, surfing that wild wave of inflated dollars to "Shangri La". I feel like singing, Join me won't you?
"Your "dollars" take me,"
"To Shangri La,"
"Each bill is magic,"
"That makes my little world a "Shangri La"
"A land of blue birds and fountains and nothing to do,"
"but cling to a "Dollar", that floats like you."
"And when you hold me, how warm you are."
"Each bill is magic, that makes my little world a Shangri La."
So I'm off, my mind is clear of doubts.(how could I have been so silly) I'm off to my "Endless Summer" of financial Freedom "Living In The USA". Somebody give me a cheese burger!(Government approved of course) All that's left is to remember is to "Whistle While You Work" knowing that even though the inflated dollar is "worth" less, you get enough of them together, they will actually buy more. Yes, More,,
"More than the greatest hoax the world has known"
"Inflation is the hoax I give to,(not just you, but all of) you, alone."
I just knew that learning music would "Show Me The Way" someday. And now not only me, but you too, as in U2. LOL
