A report from the travels of the Itinerant Book Show.

Travel is a great teacher. This trip is no exception. Yesterday was almost a blur of memories of being on the same highway a few times before but never when the weather was so consistently good. Good weather makes for good feelings about travel but can be just as tiring.
Today I perform for the first time in Toledo, Ohio. I hope to be the type of new performer that follows in the tradition of the traveling medicine man. Or woman as in this case.
The point is tonight to help to cure some ills about what the book business has become and what it can now be. With a trunkful of books we distribute for other publishers and stories to tell about how the publishing paradigm has changed, I am sure what I am about to tell them this evening will be startling and exciting.
Hello Toledo. We are at the Ground Level Coffee House. I shall give a full report once the show is over. But for now, I must prepare myself for the show. Onwards.
