When you believe that this is the age of the e-book and that for all kinds of environmental and artistic reasons that is all we should be reading, then you have to put your money where your heart is.

::::::::

Sullivan Street Press is committed to publishing only e-books. Having learned the hard way that bound books are too expensive both financially and environmentally, we are now giving away our e-book, Scags at 7 that can be read on any platform or device you choose. Just go to the website
http://www.sullivanstreetpress.com
and fill out the form and get the free downloaded version of the first of the Scags series.
We want to encourage this form of reading. We will do all that we can to help foster this way of reading. Two years from now, I can pretty much promise the types of e-books we will be publishing will be so different from just text on a screen that it will be way too exciting to argue over bound versus e-books.
The changes will be profound.
But we all have to get used to this type of reading experience. We need to become comfortable with it. We need to look forward to sitting down with our smart phone on the subway and reading a book. Or sitting at our monitors and reading a book or even on those devices they sell to you made expressly for reading e-books.
Not only have we decided to go the e-book only route, we are preparing a business model to work with authors so that the incentives are there for all of us to both advocate for this new way to read and for us to also make money from our efforts.
There is no way though that we can just ask you to trust us and not show you how pleasurable it is to read an e-book.
So go ahead and download it. Pick your spot to read too. Let us know what your thoughts are as well.
Good reading to you!
