There are thousands of farmers who have been involuntarily and illegally downsized over the years as a result of a federal farm policy that began in 1972. Read into the Congressional Record, the Young Farmers plan outlined a plan to rid the nation of "inefective/inefficient" family farames in favor of monstrous agri-businesses.

Through similar mindsets among the agri-industrialists, a 35 year old campaign to drive farmers out of business has long since been the task of the US Department of Agriculture. While the focus of many people of color over the last decade has been the racist policies of the USDA vis a vis, illegally withholding loans, forging documents, allegedly giving procedes of loans to white farmers when the loan is charged to a black farmer's account, the so-called Black Farmer Settlement and its mis-administration reflects a broader anti-small farmer, pro-agribusiness policy in the agency.
This plan, combined with a bend over backwards policy toward agribusinesses, and seed gene manipulators are leaving our food supply vulnurable to just a few prime seeds, which are the property of these industory factory meat producers and mega seed company cum genetic manipulators.
