I have a flag that used to belong to Marland Public Schools in Oklahoma. The school, which was consolidated, is defunct, but I bought the flag at their auction. It sets in a corner in our bedroom. This week's Newsweek, shows a front-cover cross wrapped in the flag. To many, that would be dishonorable. Flipping through the magazine, one can find 3 other "abuses of the flag."
Jehovah Witnesses do not honor the flag as a religious prerogative. I'm tired of hearing the right-wing flag lovers defining how others should use the flag. There are as many as 5 million flags sold each year in the United States. 2.5 million of them are sold, which were made in China ..., with the proceeds going to the Chinese Army. The biggest hypocrisy is car dealers using basketball-court-sized flags to "bring the customers," in.
It's time for the flag-worshippers to stop defining patriotism by how someone uses the flag. Selling White House flags is BIG BUSINESS. Flags are raised above the White House every 2 or 3 minutes, and sold for "big bucks" to suckers who want to buy a flag that has flown over The White House.
Get real, flag worshippers and grow up!
