Fed Sees Long Recession By admin • Published: 19 February 2009“It could take years for the nation to fully bounce back from the recession, according to new projections by leaders of the Federal Reserve, who indicated that even once the economy starts expanding again, it will be an “unusually gradual and prolonged” recovery.” (Washington Post, Thursday)

Poster's note: Thanks for nothing Fed.
No doubt, when I'm retired and we've only just gotten over this economic mess progressives will be talking about how the great Obama got us out the Depression of 2008. Never mind that it took getting past years of stimulus and war for them to finally allow the market to work. No, for progressives, it will be the government's actions that solved the problem, reality be damned. I can't wait to hear the spin, just like today we hear the spin about Roosevelt and the New Deal.
