Faye Armitage once again proved that she is a fighter and knows the issues. On June 2nd she appeared on the Mark Bernier Show- not exactly a Democratic friendly show- and the results were fireworks that made for such compelling radio she stayed on for almost an hour and a half.
To hear the entire interview go to www.marcberniershow.com/index.cfm and look for the audio to be posted soon.
Faye’s performance scared the Malloy campaign so much, his “Chair” called in, but was quickly dressed down by the host and he meekly hung up.
This is not the first time Malloy’s campaign has decided to take the low road. His “Chair” has also posted nasty personal comments on the Internet about Faye and refused to sign an agreement not to personally attack each other, but to keep to the issues.
Here is a great example.

Unlike her opponent, Faye went into great detail on the issues, and showed that she knows what she is talking about. Her opponent gives vague, pat answers and doesn’t seem to have a grasp of the issues or be able to think on his feet. To show how out-of-touch he is, the issues page, on his website, doesn’t even mention healthcare. Instead he has a section on medical marijuana, which is hardly a pressing issue for District 7.
Malloy does not have any ideas or solutions. For instance, this is under the headline “Crime.”
“All Americans have the right to feel safe in their own homes. We pay taxes so that our government can provide us safety in our homes and our communities. Our government is broken. Our prisons are revolving doors, our courts hopelessly overworked, our public schools are dilapidated, our teachers overwhelmed, and Congress does nothing. Congress does not act because they do not work for us. they work for the people who fund their campaigns, and those people have business before government.”
And your solution is?
We cannot have candidates who personally attack other Democrats. We must be united to beat the Republicans. We are all tired of this kind of campaigning. We need candidates who understand the issues and challenges that face our country; not ones who attack to cover up their inadequacies. These past eight years have shown the problems that arise when unqualified candidates are elected to office.
Faye Armitage is the only viable candidate running for John Mica’s seat. Please help Faye win by donating what you can. In these tough economic times we can all at least donate FIVE FOR FAYE.
