This is my third post of a public diary entry entitled "False Flag Watch" that I will run from time to time to do just that, watch for False Flag Operations, or signs and omens thereof, in America and beyond, because there is much concern right now that there are forces at work within the bowels of our own government, or just beyond in its shadow networks, that are, if not actually planning a staged terrorist attack on America, at least praying for one to happen. These latter "prayers" have actually been duly publicized in the media recently and should be cause for great concern, if for no other reason than the old admonition, "Be careful what you pray for."
We are also watching for False Flag Ops beyond America's borders that are designed to strongly impact foreign and domestic policy.Note as well that False Flag Operations have an ugly history as covert and deceitful tools of governments to achieve less than noble aims, so I am not hallucinating here. False Flag Ops go all the way back to Emperor Nero framing the Christians for the Great Fire of Rome and beyond, wherever and whenever a State or other political body practiced deceit to manipulate its citizens at the expense of some poor scapegoat.

There is something in the air in Washington DC, and it is not cherry blossom pollen. On my July 19 post, I inserted this excerpt from a Wayne Madsen Report:

Our sources on Capitol Hill tell us that new evacuation notices have been posted on the walls of offices in the U.S. Capitol building and Senate and House office buildings in Washington, DC. The notices provide evacuation routes for members of Congress, staffers, and visitors in the event of an emergency.Some staffers were surprised by timing of the notices, considering they have been posted almost six years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York and the Pentagon.
Perhaps it can be chalked off to the incessant heat and humidity that has been gripping Washington for the past several weeks, but there is a feeling of angst hanging over the nation's capital that something is, indeed, in the air.

Capitol police step up security fearing terror attack in next six weeks

An increased threat of another al Qaeda attack between now and Sep. 11 of this year has caused Capitol Police officials to step up security on Capitol Hill, Roll Call reported.
An unnamed Capitol Police source told Roll Call that Congressional security officials were recently made aware of the potential threat by federal anti-terrorism authorities.
“Given the world situation and recently released snippet from al-Qaida threatening to attack Washington, we’re just being a tad more vigilant if that’s possible,” Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Terrance Gainer told the Capitol Hill newspaper. “Although, if you’re ready for a four-alarm fire at any time, it’s hard to be more vigilant.”
Gainer, who chairs the Capitol Police Board, said he noticed an increased police presence on the Hill, but he would not disclose to the newspaper any specific threats or dates.
Excerpts from Roll Call:
#When asked about the significance of the approaching sixth anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, Gainer, the former chief of the Capitol Police, said, “The interesting thing with any dates is that analysts tell us that Americans tend to be much more oriented toward anniversaries and the jihadists seem to be less so. I’ve seen over the years where we concentrate on dates and the analysts say, ‘Don’t get wrapped up in dates because our terrorist jihadist enemies bide their time.’”
Rep. Zach Wamp (R-Tenn.), who helps oversee Capitol campus issues as ranking member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on the Legislative Branch, would only say Thursday that “the leaders of the committees of jurisdiction have been briefed on threats to the Capitol.”
Without mentioning a specific threat to the Capitol, Senate Minority Whip Trent Lott (R-Miss.) ominously advised Thursday that Congress needed to pass changes to terrorist surveillance laws before leaving for the August recess and warned that otherwise “the disaster could be on our doorstep.”
When asked if people should leave Washington, D.C., during the month of August, Lott responded, “I think it would be good to leave town in August, and it would probably be good to stay out until September the 12th.”

Now when the government starts referencing recent al Qaeda threats on the Capitol, I have to take note, because I don’t recall any just-released audios or videos wherein our favorite villains (whether real or digitized) actually stated they are targeting Washington and Capitol Hill (although perhaps I missed a sentence). So my conclusion is that our government is hyping the threat against DC. They are the ones splashing the media with headlines that al Qaeda is poised to strike again THIS SUMMER, accompanied by DC evacuation routes suddenly being posted SIX YEARS after the Pentagon attack and Trent Lott suggesting that YOU BETTER GET OUT OF TOWN UNTIL SEPT 12. All this lends itself to the suggestion that the Cabal in the White House is planning a hit on DC, a prime target for multiple propaganda and political reasons that were discussed in the first False Flag Watch post.
That Congress will be on vacation in August is extremely convenient, because it puts Republican legislators and staffers out of harm’s way if Capitol Hill itself is attacked, while also giving the White House the opportunity to get away with murder until they return, if they return. And, ominously, Martial Law might also be on the agenda for August if an attack does occur, rendering Congress powerless.
So Trent Lott may be the second Republican senator, also counting ex-Senator Santorum, to let the cat out of the bag regarding a False Flag Op against America this summer. Because of this, I have issued my own orange alert, warning you that such an attack, orchestrated by our own government, is strongly possible in the August to mid-September timeframe. August 18 is one suggested date.
If there are current or future whistleblowers out there, especially in DC, who have gotten wind of something sinister or suspicious going on in the government or military, or just plain government employees who have noticed something weird or out of place, put in a comment to this False Flag Watch post, or contact whomever you feel can realistically warn the public. OpEdNews is not the only website discussing this, by any means.
