What possibly reason would you put forward, for the re approval of a drug that CAUSES a severe neurological condition, in people already suffering a Debilitating Illness?
Yet this is exactly what the FDA has just done.
This drug has now been made even stronger, and, with the approval of the FDA it will be used on people that suffer from M.S.
It was banned after Illness and death occured in people taking it.
Banned for 18months.
It was re allowed and 6 more died.
But that seems to be of little moment in the drive for profit, both from the FDA who are Paid, to read results and rubber stamp!
Or the manufacturer , who after a downturn in profit,( due to all you nasty sick unemployed people needing less highly rewarding to them, subsidised benefits for drugs. )
they only? made a paltry $244Million dollars last financial year, how sad.

No One, has taken it for 2years, from the sound of that, it would appear that NO? phase 3 trials were done for more than a very short duration.
This is NOT unusual, as odd as it sounds, quite a few drugs have been trialled for as little as 8 to 12 weeks on healthy people, and then received approval. Yet they are given to severely ill people who have entirely different , already stressed,abilities to cope, physically, already
It is a lot like the 30 day mouse trials for GM Safety!
When you read the list of KNOWN issues apart from the rare, well maybe NOT so rare killer effect. You would seriously have to question the sanity of any Doctor willing or eager to suggest taking it, surely?
And the ethics of the company making it for sure.
Reminds me a lot of what Stephen Fox is saying about Aspartames approval, and Vioxx, and ..and.. and...an awful lot of FDA greenlighted killer drugs.
While M.S. is a truly horrible disease, one has to wonder how much better off you would be to consider this Drug as a treatment?
Amazing really- someone offering a Herbal or Alternative treatment that at worst may not work, but will not kill you, or cause serious damage to you, is NOT allowed to be offered as a source of acceptable treatment, yet something this dangerous is?
Whenever I see" Not Tested or Approved by the FDA" , on a label, I know I am taking a safer product!
