RE: Homeland Security
Dear Representative,
The U.S. has written laws so that people might know their rights and secure justice in the courts.
The U.S. Constitution requires that all elected officials take an oath promising to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution.
Violating the Constitution is a crime. Those who violate the Constitution, I allege, are criminals.
Authorization for The Office of Homeland Security never should have received congressional approval.
The presence of the Office of Homeland Security violates constitutional law, Article 1, Section 8 , which states:
Congress shall reserve "to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia.
Article 1, Section 9 states:
No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law.
This indicates, defense of States is coordinated at the State level. Homeland Security, is coordinating defense of states at the Federal level. Federal coordination of state defensive initiatives is illegal.
Therefore, please act to stamp out the Office of Homeland Security, eradicate its committees in Congress, and purge all of its funding.
Sincerely,
Susan Allen, M.Ed.
