How corporate financing determines our choices.

::::::::

Edwards/Kucinich  Supporters  Unite!
Why  do  the  best  candidates  get  the  least  votes?    Why  did  some  candidates  get  to  dominate  the   debates  from  the  beginning,  while  others  were  ignored  or  given  non-issue  questions  about  UFOs?  Why  did  moderators  pick  certain  candidates  over  &  over.   Our  political  process  is  controlled  by  corporate  financing. Obama  reported  raising  a  record  $32  million.  Millions  are  raised,  millions  are  spent  but  the  big  corporate  donors  decide  which  candidates  will  survive-financially  &  which  candidates  won't  have  the  money  to  get  their  message  out.
  These  same  corporations  own  the  media  &  decide  which  candidates  will  be  favored.  Moderators  aren't  given  direct  orders,  they  just  go  by  the  latest  polls.  Poll  numbers  are  driven  by  exposure.  Exposure  is  bought  through  advertising-  no  corporate  funding- no  money  for  advertising  amounts  to  lack  of  exposure  leads  to  low  poll  numbers  &  being  ignored  in  the  debates.  The  more  you  are  ignored  the  less  you  seem  to  have  to  offer,  soon  you  find  yourself  without  enough  money  or  delegates  to  stay  in  the  race.
  If  you  are  a  Dodd  or  Richards  or  Kucinich  or  Edwards  supporter  your  candidate  was  rail  roaded.  Make  no  mistake  about.  Some  candidates  corporate  America  has  favored  go  to  www.opensecrets.org  for  a  complete  list  of  corporate  campaign  contributions.  And  then  ask  yourself  why,  is  it  because  America  has  been  hijacked  by  privilege  &  special  interest.
  We  can't  let  this  happen  every  four  years.  The  party  bosses  are  all  crying  for  party  unity  but  we  deserve  competence  &  ideas.  The  foxes  have  taken  over  the  hen  house.  We  can  line  up  like  sheep  come  November  on  election  night  or  we  can  say  "Enough  is  Enough".
  I  know  that  after  your  candidate  dropped  out  you  wanted  to  crawl  in  a  hole  &  forget  about  the  whole  thing  until  next  time  but  we  can't  let  the  crooks  win  again.
Get  your  candidates  message  out  &  into  the  press-  through  blogs,  letters  to  the  editor,  op-eds,  keep  those  issues  alive  &  in  the  national  discussion  so  they  can  not  be  ignored  or  silenced.  Never  surrender  go  to  www.votestrike.com  &  lets  give  the  crooks  a  run  for  their  money  this  election  cycle!

Whether you call it the world financial structure, the U.S. culture of waste, or the ability of the common man to make a decent living, the system is broken. It's time for the common man to go on strike. Join or support the March on Washingon (more...)
