Michele Bachmann flew out of her tree and over the cuckoo's nest.

Appearing on Hardball with Chris Matthews last night, Rep. Michele Bachmann, (R-MN) not only accused Barack Obama of paling around with terrorists and being anti-American, but she called for an investigation of all members of Congress, especially the liberal members, for un-American activities.

Although her spokeswoman, who doesn’t believe her own lying ears, ardently claimed Bachmann never said no such thing.

Well, maybe the poor spokesliar heard what she wanted to hear on some weird interplanetary, universal translating machine available only to her.

Within an hour MSNBC announced that Bachmann’s rival for her 6th District seat, Elwyn Tinklenberg (D-MN), had received $30,000 in pledged contributions.

Minnesotans might have elected this brain dead ultra, ultra rightie, but at least now they are trying to undo their gross error in voting judgment.
