Mike Bestor, City Manager for Golden, Colorado was intimidated into withdrawing an invitation to a backyard barbeque that he extended to Al Jazeera with the potential for coverage from his locale of the Democratic National Convention. The culturely diverse ceremonies suggestive of many world religions were covered by Al Jazeera. I hope American media can acknowledge this aspect of the convention. I fear it will go unreported by American media conglomerates because of the implications of future foreign policy attitudes.
