...or, Ron Paul doesn't have an ice cube's chance in hell of being elected pResident of the United States of the Military Industrial Complex War Machine called "America"

::::::::

The Diary Title & Description say it all and if you don't believe it, read "Rebuilding Americas Defenses". Yes, it's a somewhat outdated document and the Project for a New American Century has been dismantled (actually rebranded if anything) but the basic truth of what it is that keeps the USA going is right there in that document. Instead of debating Ron Paul and how the man stands on any given subject, we should be debating the Military Industrial Complex, how it runs the show and how we can work at shaking it off in order to restore peace in many parts of the world. While many of us subscribe to the strategy of "fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here", some of us would rather not fight at all. Neither there nor here. While there is some truth in the strategy of sending troops abroad to keep potential enemies at bay, some...albeit very little, the Military Industrial Complex is using that notion to hoodwink us all into believing more money is needed to feed the US Military and to keep it greased, ready and able to wage war. Let's face it, without war, the United States of America could not survive. What we're actually looking at when we look back on 9/11 and the PNAC plan is a strategy of survival :

a plan - "Rebuilding Americas Defenses"

a "catastrophic and catalyzing event" - 9/11

and two new wars to keep the MIC healthy, "up & running".

So why debate Ron Paul or the pResidential Elections at all when we all know, or should know, the MIC is running the country, the elections and most of the candidates. Ron Paul said, and I'm not quoting the man with this because we all heard what he said....he said he would, if elected pResident, bring the troops home and work at closing most of the bases overseas.

Do you really believe this man has an ice cube's chance in hell of being elected pResident of the United States ? I don't. I don't believe he has a chance BECAUSE I read the plan and I understand what it is that keeps America "up & running". Namely, War.

W - A - R

Partisan Politics play no real role in the War Game except to keep the people in the belief that they have a choice in the matter.

For the USA, PEACE is not an option...it's a carrot.
