My experience with how my aunt died needlessly.

::::::::

My aunt died of cancer in New Mexico about fifteen or so years ago. She died at home untreated, and I'll tell you why.

Her husband was a New Mexico government official. He had plenty of money and influence. He was picky about the house, and demanded that it be cleaned constantly with all sorts of cleaners. After he took a bath, she had to dry the tub out and clean the tub with hazardous chemicals.

She became overweight because her husband demanded to eat lots of meat, and forced his kid to be a glutton and play on the football team. The meat made her fat. She was extremely obese.

I once visited their house while on college break, this uncle remarked that he wouldn't waste money sending a girl to college since all she was going to do is get married and have kids. In fact of my female cousins two were left out because of their gender from higher education. All of the males went to college. Two who did go to college never had children.

When my aunt discovered that she had a lump in her breast, the lump was already the size of a baseball. She didn't know her own body enough to know that something foreign was growing inside her. When she got to the doctor, the insurance would not cover a hospital that treated cancer. My uncle would not pay any money out of his pocket for her treatment. He probably thought it was a waste of money. She went home to die without treatment.

She was an extremely religious woman jumping from the Southern Baptist faith to the Pentacostal faith. She threw her kids contacts in the toilet because they were evil. She tried to anoint my father with holy water when he was in the hospital. To her women were second class and could die at home without treatment.

She was a throwaway woman, and to big time insurance companies she was a throw away person. Wall street bankers think quite a large segment of Americana is a throw away. They don't need homes.

I enjoy writing about political/ economic events, and I am especially concerned about the US as a warlike nation. I would like to see this nation turn itself around from a conquering nation in both commerce and war to a nation of peace. I hope that (more...)
