Dear President Bush,
I'm 56. Happily married. Two boys. I own a small store. A U.S. Citizen by birth. My mom is 84. Slowing down. My wife and I have our hands full.
I need to talk with you. In person.
If I send you a postal letter or email, I think it is safe to assume neither will get through to you. So I am writing this on OpEdnews.com hoping with a little luck, you'll perhaps notice.
There are millions of Americans sir, most of them way worse off than we are. It's bad out here.
I am beyond being concerned. About Our country. Our leaders. Our Soldiers. Our Constitution. Our Bill of Rights. Our Way of Life. Suffice to say sir, I am concerned for my family, your family and all who love this country.
As busy as I know you are sir, I offer to come to Washington D.C., or, you and Laura are most welcome to come into our home.
I'll make coffee.
Please Mr. President.
This is serious. I know you know.
I await your reply.
Sincerely, Mikel Paul
Auburn, California
