In advance of the Conference on Women's Health & the Environment, Teresa Heinz Kerry responds to bloggers' questions.

This blog tour is just presenting a wealth of information and ideas and I just have to say, again, how thankful I am to Mrs. Kerry for doing this.  And, of course, to Meredith for the incredible idea.  Today we go to a new blog, but an old friend, A Dem Fine Woman.  She digs into the practical, with questions about political persuasion, reaching across cultural lines, empowering moderate income moms, and the personal question of Alzheimer’s Disease.  Teresa has excellent answers, and I am once again struck that she urges activists to use the power of the dollar.  Her recommendation that low-income moms use the power of their purse as their local grocery store is nothing short of brilliant.  Do give it a read.  You can catch up with yesterday’s post at Democracy Cell Project and tomorrow’s stop will be at The World Women Want.
