Cut the cable folks. Save some dough, but be sure to email the networks and tell them why.
My family has lived without cable for 10 years. We did so my 10 year old nephew who came to live with us wouldn't find every night filled with mndless channel surfing. We wanted to reject the notion that our happiness is related to how much 'stuff' we have.
We are not neo luddite freaks that reject technology. In fact we depend on high speed internet access for our business and now our entertainment. We belive that sensibile hi-tech can be the answer for human scale sustainability and power production, and that the earth is sacred.
Now with all the networks and cable content providers, i.e discovery channel, etc streaming free full episodes and news etc freely available, why not cut the cable. You don't need it. The msm has let us down and conitnues to letus down and they need to pay the price until their pundits equal the elected.
