How long will the media continue the debate whether enhanced interrogation techniques produced results of not? Or whether Nancy Pelosi was briefed on the use of those techniques or whether the CIA is not telling us the truth.?

They have successfully taken Dick Cheney out of the equation. They have successfully made it more “newsworthy” by shoving wedges between two groups of thought. In the case of results we have one group saying that they gave us vital information that saved lives of American citizens. We have another group saying the information obtained was false, given only to stop the enhanced interrogations.

In the Pelosi-CIA debate we have one group saying Pelosi is lying to cover her behind, that she was fully aware of these enhanced methods being employed and she did nothing to stop them. On the other hand we have Pelosi saying the CIA never gave her that information.

The bottom line of all of this is neither of these “wedges” means anything. Dick Cheney has openly admitted to authorizing the use of these enhanced interrogation techniques, h*ll let's call them what they are – torture activities, and the corporate media propagandists have completely ignored that fact in driving these wedges between ignorant people who are caught up in the meaningless debates.

Dick Cheney has admitted to being a part of the administration that authorized torture. Torture is a war crime and a crime against humanity. War crimes are punishable by imprisonment.

Barack Obama has touted he is for reinstating the “rule of law” within our government. It is time for him to put his actions where his so eloquent talk is. Stop the meaningless debates. Start the prosecutions for war crimes. Restate to the world the United States of America stands for justice.
