If Democraps get control of the House, will they take strong action to control illegal immigration?

::::::::

I want illegal immigration stopped. I expect the federal government to protect our homeland. The right tactic to use is coming down hard on illegal employers of illegal immigrants. And another new tactic is needed.

If we still profess to be a nation of laws, then the cities and counties that have made themselves sanctuaries for illegal immigrants and refuse to implement federal immigration law, nor assist federal agencies attempting to arrest illegal immigrants, have put themselves above the law. Such sanctuaries violate a 1996 federal law. Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, and Austin are prime examples. The federal Justice Department should take legal action against law-breaking local governments, but they do not. Here is a good idea.

The new congress should pass a new law to deny all federal grants to such governments. But if the Democraps get control of the House, will they take legislative action to stop illegal immigration? Not if they are beholding to large labor unions that now want no stop to illegal immigration, and not if they think that illegal immigrants are likely to vote for Democraps.

Cutting off federal grants would do much to develop local public opposition to local sanctuary policies and ordinances. Federal grants should not be given to governments that openly violate federal law period!

And let's see if a Democrap controlled House take action to stiffen penalties for illegal employers.

Make no mistake, any working- or middle-class American that supports illegal immigration is committing economic suicide. Massive numbers of illegal immigrants drive down wages and take much more out of taxpayer-supported social programs than they pay in with their taxes.
