Healthcare reform seems to be fading from the spotlight now that the election is over. Now more that ever, we need to continue to fight for the right of all persons to receive high quality healthcare.

I am a Medical doctor in private practice for 22 years in Tennessee and have lived through the TennCare program with all of its problems, and am 100% for universal healthcare coverage through a single party payer.  However, with the National Debt at 10 trillion dollars, I do not believe HR676 is the reform bill for us. Please check out the web site OurHealthReform.com and at least address the bullet pointed summaries at the bottom of the 1st page for a Healthcare Reform Bill and for the manner in which Medicare can be expanded and funded.  I AM PRO-REFORM!  I just want it to be correct, fundable, and implementable.

 

There are many opinions available on healthcare reform for the United States. Most of them are based in self interest and the maintaining the status quo, along with their profit margins, or a misunderstanding of the problem and/or solutions. This site is an insider's view of the problems with healthcare delivery and a rational and affordable solution which would grant universal care from a single party payer system. Congress does not yet understand the full problem, reasonable solutions, or when they are being manipulated by persons and/or corporations vested in the current system.  We need help in popularizing this message and to encourage the general population to force the Congress to adopt it as is.  A prototype bill is included.
