The consequences of Obama being inaugurated before ending the birth certificate controversy.

::::::::

There are two groups of voters that are clamoring to see President- Elect Obama's birth certificate.  There are those bitter Clinton supporters, and then those wanting to make sure our constitution remains the basis of our democracy.

For some reason Obama is working very hard behind the scenes to keep from showing the electorate his original birth certificate.  So far, the certificate of live birth is all we've seen.  There seems to still be hope in the Obama camp that this will suffice.  Anyone following the internet knows it is not working.  The bottom line of most posters is, if there isn't something to hide why doesn't Obama do the right thing and end this controversy by spending $15 to get a certified copy of the real thing and show it to us?

It's not nay-sayers that keep this issue running rampant.  It's Obama himself.  Every day we see more and more articles in the media about this thorny problem.   This is media that has been reluctant to touch the issue for fear of reprisal.

It is probable that the dozen or so lawsuits in the mill will die somewhere in our judicial system, and none will  prevail before inauguration.  The same goes for those asking the members of the electoral college to visit this issue before casting their vote.  (Constitutionally they are the ones most responsible for making sure our new president meets all qualifications.

I am a retired mid-level manager for a Fortune 500 corporation. I have always been very interested in politics, and have followed this election very closely and ended up a democrat for McCain.
