I know I already posted a comment to the post below. Sorry for the redundancy, but I felt compelled to publish this in diary form. Read it or don't.
I came across an interesting post today (see: http://www.opednews.com/populum/diarypage.php?did=11723)
Excerpt: "Where this hate comes from is a matter of opinion, but I think it’s safe to say that the hate spewed by the Bush Bashers is indicative not only of an inability to articulate a position in a rational and logical manner, but points to a lack of intelligence and deep thinking that is disguised by reckless rhetoric that serves as a smokescreen."
Permit me to take a stab at this...
OK. I have to agree that there is much bile being spewed by the "Bush Bashers." And I must confess to participating in my fare share of this practice; but, then again, I've been doing it since '99 (still a mere “rookie” compared to many others out there). And, granted, oftentimes the anti-W viewpoints aren't particularly well articulated - which can leave one with an unpleasant taste in the brain.
But to claim bewilderment over the tone and source of this indignation is a bit beyond my comprehension. It reeks of either disingenuousness or outright, willful ignorance.
Therefore, rather than relying upon "matter(s) of opinion" to understand "where this hate comes from," I recommend perusing the following site for a well researched, logically formulated look at our outgoing Commander in Chief's legacy:

"Biased," you say? Of course, it is.
Have other leaders committed unsavory acts? Damn straight, they have.
But, we’re not talking about Idi Amin, here; or Pol Pot, or Bill Clinton, or Robert Mugabe, for that matter. We are talking about George W. Bush.
So, my hope is that this compendium might help to remove the “smokescreen,” shed some light on the Bush Basher zeitgeist, and help others to understand why folks sometimes get a bit apoplectic when it comes to W.
We all want what’s best for our Republic.
However, Bush's actions were, I would argue, more often antithetical to the best, or even basest, common interests of the American people - or the world, for that matter.
So, when it comes to what’s best for this Republic, many of us would argue that Bush does not necessarily fit the bill. Simply pick up any paper, or ask any Iraqi or Afghani or Palestinian, and knock yourself out trying to argue otherwise.
Simply put: Our Republic is in tatters and the people are pissed. Although I expect more, I would expect nothing less.
Kindest regards,
