Ever since the current round of violence took hold on the Middle East last week, the majority of victims have been civilians. Old men. Women. Childen. Little babies. Sick people. On both sides.So, of course, much of the world is calling for a cease-fire. Gotta stop the violence for now, to save the innocent civilians. Then we can try to work things out amongst the parties who really are responsible for this mess.
But the Bush administration disagrees. There just aren't enough dead babies yet. Keep those explosions coming! That's the only way to "win"!
George W. Bush, Condi Rice, and the rest of the administration apparently have no empathy for the innocent victims of this violence that they think should continue.
How can they sleep at night?
