Bush balks at white tie for Queen's visit.

Apparently after 8 years as son of the Vice President, 4 years as the son of the President, and 6 years as the actual President of the United States, George Bush still hasn’t learned the basic rules of dress and State Affairs.  Balking at white tie requirements for the Queen’s visit, Laura had to call in Condi, which I guess is better than having to call a grown man’s mother.  Barely.

Yes.. Madam Secretary… would you please come over after your morning briefings on war, famine, and disease… yes, well, I need you to dress the President, since you’ve already been put in charge of potty breaks and all…

This is the guy the media said was the serious, stable husband that women chose after their flirtation with the artsy moody John Kerry type. A guy that can’t even dress himself, more of that Texas charm I guess.  Just don’t let him know that national costume is acceptable at white tie events.  He might show up in cowboy boots and chaps.
